Concrete

acrylic on canvas, 30 x 40″

You’ve noticed this building from the Autobahn on your way back into town. One day, you decide you need a closer look. Driving without a map, you hit multiple dead ends and finally ask for directions in your suspect German. You arrive and park just outside the gate with the large Zutritt Verboten sign. It is, evidently, a concrete factory and there are big orange cement trucks queuing to be filled. It is twilight. You decide to slip in briefly and take some photos. You take a few then try to go a little further for a better angle, but at that moment you’re spotted by the drivers who start yelling and pointing. If you were to disappear, the building would not be at fault.
